TADinfo is a tool that has been designed to assist the epidemiologist in decision-making. However, TADinfo will be only a part of the surveillance system; as with any Information System, the quality of the information generated by the system is as good as the quality of the data that are collected, submitted and entered. Therefore, human resources should be devoted to collecting and submitting the required data in an accurate and timely manner, as well as in data entry. In addition, an epidemiologist is required to interpret the results, make decisions and send feedback.
